Privacy Policy

1. Private Evidence Handling

Veyliq is a private career-evidence workspace designed for professionals building an organized, defensible record of their achievements. We treat your professional evidence with the highest level of privacy and security. Your documents, achievements, and case strategies are kept strictly confidential.

2. Data Collection & Usage

We collect only the information necessary to provide you with the Veyliq service, including your account identity and the professional documents you choose to upload. Veyliq AI uses this information strictly to generate case strategy and narratives for your personal use.

3. Account Deletion

You have the right to permanently delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data and uploaded evidence are removed from our active systems. Please note that certain billing and legal records may be retained as required by law.

4. Third-Party Services

We use industry-standard subprocessors to handle authentication and payments. We do not sell your personal data or professional evidence to any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Attorney Collaboration and Exports

Attorneys can submit an application on our public website without creating an account. We store the contact and professional details for private administrator review. Approval does not create an account or share a client case. An approved applicant must link a matching verified email account before activating their attorney profile. Contact support to request correction or deletion of an unlinked application.

Attorneys submit professional profiles for administrator review before appearing in Legal Team. Your case is not shared by submitting an attorney application or browsing the directory. When you explicitly request a handoff and the attorney accepts, that attorney can access your saved profile, achievements, evidence files, drafts, and readiness reports, including subsequent updates. Protected intake answers are included only if you separately authorize them. Chat history, billing records, and private AI tool logs are not included in this shared case view.

You can revoke access in Legal Team. Revocation stops future case access through Veyliq, but cannot recall files or information already downloaded. Attorney packets are private downloads that you control; review them for sensitive information before sending them to anyone. New case drafts and readiness findings are encrypted at rest. Attorney engagement, confidentiality obligations, legal services, and fees must be agreed directly with your attorney.

6. What we collect

  • Account data from sign-up (name, email, sign-in identifiers).
  • Intake answers you provide, which may include field, role, compensation, country of birth, U.S. presence and status category.
  • Achievements you record and documents you upload.
  • Vey conversations.
  • Basic usage and service data needed to operate the product.
  • Billing data: payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

7. Sensitive information

Compensation, immigration-related answers and prior petitions are optional. The intake answers our system classifies as sensitive are encrypted. This is not the same as end-to-end encryption of everything: other profile fields and uploaded documents are protected by storage-level encryption and access controls, not end-to-end encryption. Sensitive answers are used to personalize your own workspace and are shared with an attorney only if you separately authorize it.

8. How AI processes your data

Vey and drafting features use OpenAI through Replit AI Integrations. Content relevant to a request, such as your question and parts of your workspace, is sent to the provider only to generate your answer or draft. We do not ourselves use your content to train models. We have not verified the provider's training or retention settings for this integration, so we do not promise zero retention or that the provider never trains on submitted data; see the provider's policies.

We do not currently use app-store purchases, RevenueCat, an error-monitoring service or automated email delivery. We will update this list if that changes.

10. Retention

Active accounts keep their data until you delete it. When you delete your account, access is blocked first. We then wait at least fifteen minutes so that outstanding upload and download links expire, then remove your data from our database and file storage, retrying if a step fails. We have not confirmed a backup rotation window, so copies in backups may persist for a period we cannot yet state. Billing records are kept as the law requires.

11. Your rights

You can access, export, correct and delete your data in Settings, or by emailing support@veyliq.com. California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA (to know, delete, correct, and not be discriminated against; we do not sell personal information). If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have GDPR rights including access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection; email us to exercise them. We do not currently send marketing email.

12. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and storage that are necessary for sign-in and security. We have not added advertising or cross-site tracking.

13. Children

Veyliq is not intended for anyone under 18.

15. International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States. Contact support for information about international transfers and applicable safeguards.
